Shanti’s first client was herself.
A seriously challenging life taught her to read people - in self-defense!

Shanti Mai is an intuitive, an empath, and is clairaudient.
(She’s also a Pollyanna, a practical mystic - and a rebel!)

Fluent in both Eastern and Western traditions and techniques,she credits the lineage of Ramana Maharshi and 17 years of single-parenting her four children as having been her greatest teachers.

As a child, Shanti Mai (born Janice Harrington) thought and spoke a lot about God and studied metaphysical topics independently while still in elementary school.

She graduated with a B.S., Cum Laude, in 1975, planning, originally, to head to grad school to become a teacher of the Deaf. (Her college advisor was McCay Vernon, then famous in the field of Education for Deaf. Her insights caused him to invite her, during her senior year, to several of his graduate school classes as a guest speaker. She shied away from the many introductions around the country that he offered her that year, choosing instead to study meditation, and to focus on becoming a meditation teacher.

Private Appointments and Phone Sessions

A free, high quality digital recording is included with all GPS and Sherpa Sessions

1) The "GPS" Session - Your initial session, the GPS session will orient you, tell you how you got to be where you didn't want to be - and give you tools for getting to your new destination. $110 / hr.

2) Sherpa Sessions (follow-up work) Like a mountain climber, you may choose to go it alone. Expert help is available, though! Sherpa work is expert help for getting to the new heights you want to scale in your life - - for making it through the more dangerous passes. More tools given, more empowering homework, specific to you. $80 / hr.

3) Expedition Package - Your initial GPS Session and 3 Sherpa Sessions 4 hrs / $295
